I often see the pink variant with “BAWAL TUMAWID NAKAMAMATAY”.
As if “BAWAL TUMAWID” (do not cross/no jaywalking) in all caps isn’t enough, they also added “NAKAMAMATAY”(deadly).
But this sign is just disturbing. “Do not cross, someone already died here.”
Signs are mere suggestions in the Philippines.
